Our Response to the Coronavirus Guidelines
At Happy Memories Play Centre we hold our customers safety in the highest regard. We’ve worked really hard to make sure we’re compliant with the Government’s operational guidelines and we continue to adapt to the ever-changing situation.
We understand that this is a difficult and often confusing time, especially for families with children, and we’re doing everything in our power to make the changes and new procedures as easy and painless as possible.
It’s fundamentally important to us that all of our customers feel safe when visiting the play centre and we appreciate your cooperation during this time.

The operational recommendations provided by the Government have, unfortunately, not been particularly explicit when it comes to soft play centres. That said, we are confident that everything we are doing complies with current guidelines and maintains the safety of our customers (and employees!) as far as physically possible.
Having completed a full risk assessment and overview of our existing procedures, we have made the following changes to the way we operate:
- All tables in the cafe and viewing areas of the play centre have been spaced a minimum of 2 metres apart.
- We have provided hand sanitizer at various points throughout the interior of the building for visitors to use freely.
- A thermometer is available at the front desk for checking visitors' temperature upon entry. Anybody displaying a high temperature will not be allowed to enter the main play centre.
- All adults visiting the play centre are required to provide a full name and valid contact details for Track and Trace purposes.
- Any visitor aged 11 and over is required to wear a face covering while inside the play centre.
- We ask that any individual displaying one or more of the advised symptoms of Coronavirus do not enter the play centre. You can find more information about the listed symptoms here.
- We have limited the number of visitors in each play session to comply with social distancing guidelines. Avoid disappointment by using our new online booking system!
- The play centre will be closed for 30 minutes between each play session for centre-wide deep cleaning of all public areas.
Further Updates to Guidelines
This is an evolving, quickly-changing situation and the information we receive can change overnight. We are committed to keeping abreast of any new recommendations and, should further action be required on our part, we will respond as quickly as possible to ensure that our customers remain protected.
